Ioana Radu CBIA, CWCA
Ioana is the Founder of Blueprint Risk Consulting. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia and has built her career specializing in construction risk management and commercial insurance strategy.
Her background includes experience as both a commercial insurance producer and insurance marketing executive, giving her a strong understanding of underwriting strategy, carrier negotiations, and how to position companies more favorably during the renewal process.
Ioana has worked with national brokerage firms including McGriff and USI Insurance Services. Her expertise includes underwriting negotiations, contractor risk exposures, workers compensation program structure, fleet and safety program development, and building underwriting submissions that help companies present themselves more effectively to insurance carriers.
As a Workers Compensation Certified Advisor, she helps companies reduce overall risk costs through stronger safety initiatives, return-to-work programs, claims management strategies, and more organized renewal planning. Her approach combines insurance expertise with operational risk management to help business owners make smarter financial decisions, improve internal organization, and gain greater control over their insurance programs.
Outside of work, Ioana enjoys working out, playing golf, working on cars, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Chance.
