About Blueprint Risk Consulting
Blueprint was built by a former licensed insurance agent from national brokerage firms — including McGriff (now Marsh) and USI Insurance Services — where the work meant sitting across the table from business owners, placing the policies, and watching how the industry really works from the inside.
And a lot of it didn't sit right. Brokers are paid more when you pay more. The most useful truths often go unsaid. Renewals get treated like a quick signature instead of the biggest controllable cost on the books. We couldn't keep doing it that way.
So we left, and rebuilt the entire role around one side of the table: yours. Blueprint Risk Consulting is fee-only and independent — no commissions, no carrier relationships, no conflicts of interest. Our only job is to bring what we learned as agents back to the people it should have been serving all along: the business owner.
Blueprint holds both the Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA) and Certified Builders Insurance Agent (CBIA) designations, and specializes in construction risk management and commercial insurance strategy — workers' compensation program structure, EMR auditing, underwriting positioning, fleet and safety program development, subcontractor risk transfer, and renewal strategy. Every engagement is built around one goal: reducing your total cost of risk.
